Dwarf Minstrel
What is the level of your character?

How long have you been playing Lord of the Rings: Online?

Since around open beta / release in 2007. (off and on) ; Lifetime sub

Are you a F2P-player or a VIP-player? (optional)

Have you been roleplaying for a long time or is this a whole new experience for you?

Yes, I've been involved in RP for many years, but I'm a bit rusty since I took a long hiatus from it due to issues that arose from another game.

Please post the link to your character's Laurelin Archives profile (if applicable)

How would you describe your knowledge about Lord of the Rings and Dwarrow in specific?

I'd like to think I have a pretty fair grasp of the general knowledge of Middle Earth in general. I do know enough about Dwarrow to be convincing, but there's tons and tons I need to learn of course

How did you get in contact with our Kinship?

I came across the site while looking up the site of a kin ally. I was so impressed by this one that I sought out whomever I could in game to initiate talk about possible application. I spoke specifically to Dwainf who provided good info.

Do you know any of the Durin's Folk members or have you been in contact with anyone?

I've spoken with a few now that I've been invited.

Why do you wish to join a dwarf-only kinship, as opposed to a mix or other race-oriented kinship?

Dwarves have always been my most favorite race. I love their lore, regardless of theme, their gruff pride and grim resolve. Ive always marveled at, in nearly every setting, Dwarves have been capable of such amazing things, arguably more than anyone else, yet are still viewed in less than flattering ways. I'm just interested in joining a group were the basis of our adventures is that we're all Dwarves, and have that universal bond that no other race could have.

What are you looking for in a kinship and what are your expectations of Durin's Folk?

I'm looking to hopefully return to what I missed about LoTRO from years ago and seeking like-minded folks as well. As far as expectations, if the kin is as well-built and impressive as the site is, then my expectations have been surpassed already!

What kind of activity level are you likely going to have within Durin's Folk?

I would like to take part of as much as possible, I want to learn as much as possible about role play, I want to learn as much as possible about Dwarrow and their Lore and Culture

Which of Durin's Folks Pillars would you like to join? (select one of the Pillars)

I would like to join the Pillar of Force

And finally: tell us a good joke

A man named Carl died and his two best friends, Jimmy and Bobby Joe, were called in to identify his body. At the morgue, the two are shown Carl and asked if that was indeed him. Jimmy rolls the body over, spreads the arse-cheeks and says "Nope. This aint him! Only one asshole here. Next, Bobby Joe does the exact same thing; rolls Carl over, spreads cheeks, declares "Nope! This ain't Carl for sure, only one asshole. The coroner says "Gentlemen, we have his ID, blood and DNA tests and piles of evidence stating it is indeed Carl, why do you say it isn't? Jimmy replies "Our entire lives, no matter where we'd go, people always said "There goes Carl with those two assholes!"
